Villa in aldona is a continuation of the understanding we had in Bastora, the 

restoration here was a product of time that wasnt in abundance for the client, 

we had to come up with ways in whihc we could fasten and yet hold the structral intigrity.

Compared to the walls in bastora where we injected cement to make them stronger we chose to let the core stay and plaster its skin, in addition we took the load of the roof off the walls and made that move through columns that

we erected in the junctions. 

​

To enhance the utility we also casted a slab on the back portion of the house 

and hosted two rooms that also sit on the carefully planned column grid. 

​

The internal movemnt had to be refined with addition and breakage of certyain walls to accomadate todays way of life, our staircases take the visual 

command while traversing through the site.
